Infrared Sauna FAQs
What should I wear in the infrared sauna? +
Less is best! Most clients prefer to wear a towel or nothing at all. This is a private infrared sauna room and fresh towels are provided for seating and for use during your session.
How long is a typical infrared sauna session? +
We allow up to 45 minutes for your infrared sauna session and the private infrared sauna room is yours for 1 hour. Most clients typically partake in 30 to 45 minute sessions.
How often can I use the infrared sauna +
Frequency depends on individual preferences and your health and wellness goals. One session will leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. But similar to exercise, the more you do it, the better the results. Many individuals use infrared saunas 2-3 times a week, while some individuals use infrared saunas on a daily or weekly basis.
Can I use the infrared sauna if I am pregnant? +
No, we do not recommend for pregnant women due to the rise in core body temperature.
Who should not use an infrared sauna? +
Attached is a list of conditions that may prohibit you from using the infrared sauna. Please consult your physician if you are in doubt of your ability to use the infrared sauna due to medications or health reasons. Click here to see a list of contraindications
Do you provide showers and towels? +
We provide fresh towels for use during your infrared sauna session. We do not, however, provide showers. If possible, we recommend not showering for up to an hour after your session as your body will continue to sweat out toxins as it cools down.
Can I take my phone or electronics inside the infrared sauna? +
We do not recommend taking phones and other electronics inside the infrared sauna as they could potentially overheat.
What are the colored lights inside the infrared sauna for? +
Chromotherapy is an optional added bonus to our infrared sauna therapy. It is the technique of restoring balance to the body by applying color light therapy. Chromotherapy can help benefit physical, emotional, and mental healing.
